It does all the things that a smartphone does and it does what my nook does as well. What I really like is that I can actually read the screen without having to move things around all the time. I also love the Samsung office suite that comes with the phone. Makes it easy to get my work documents that I need and also makes its easy to do the things I need to do and know how to do with Office.
So whatever device you go with, I recommend getting what you want, not what someone else wants you to want. For me it was about price and being able to take my books anywhere and not have tons of books to store. One perk I have with the Nook is the free book on Friday's. BN picks a book to feature and you can download it for free. I have found new authors and wonderful series this way. I like the feel of the Nook and that I can download it right to my nook and not have to hook it up to my computer. Also I can support my local BN by going to store and there is additional content I can get. I do love going to libraries and book stores and nothing will ever bet the feel of a new book, but being a gadget girl I'm loving my Nook and saving money on books.TheFoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12926074747152604839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34947741.post-63824906811564841422011-02-13T12:57:54.996-05:002011-02-13T12:57:54.996-05:00I loved what you wrote last week (and that you ARE...I loved what you wrote last week (and that you ARE writing again), but I did wonder if friends left here in Fayetteville might feel slighted ... I think it's been explained a lil' further this time. I think a bigger metro area like ATL lends itself to more energy and opportunity, personally and professionally. Obviously this is agreeing with you and I think you are becoming healthier overall (creatively, exercise, diet, socially, etc.). That opportunity will also open for both of us job-wise, hopefully sooner rather than later, as I can't wait to start the next part of our lives together in the "big city."
Love You Always ~ RoxanneUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02728427177821307660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34947741.post-47510483504440698872011-02-06T22:18:39.785-05:002011-02-06T22:18:39.785-05:00Andrew... you are a real, and true friend. My comments about not having anyone to hang out with or anything else to go do in Fayetteville simply reflect the fact that our schedules never really worked out to be able to hang out as much as we'd liked to have. Plus, with getting into Warhammer 40k, if I were to move back to Fayetteville, I'd pretty much have to give up being able to play it unless I wanted to drive all the way out to Spring Lake and deal with those asshats, or pay for table space at The Hobbit (which is bullshit).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00041779231305925809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34947741.post-85870296167301066132011-02-06T21:40:47.398-05:002011-02-06T21:40:47.398-05:00dang I know we did not hang out much because of sc...dang I know we did not hang out much because of schedules but I thought I was your real friend. Part of the reason I went with the Red Dragon was that 1) it looks like a cigarette; the prosmoke doesn't look natural (never seen an all glossy black cigarette before) and 2) with the Red Dragon vs other brands, the cartridges always include a fresh atomizer. True, that means their cartridges cost a bit more, but it also means that flavors won't blend nor do I have to worry about an atomizer getting overly clogged.

You are right though. I'm going to do more research. It's not like I've smoked the same brand of cigarettes all my life, so why would I not possibly try other brands of ecigarettes too.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00041779231305925809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34947741.post-12205479734340127282010-05-24T21:52:52.104-04:002010-05-24T21:52:52.104-04:00Great article! I think 50% of it for me was the actual act of smoking, which the e-cigarette obviously helps. The ecig doesn’t smell, no second hand smoke, you can smoke it pretty much everywhere, and you still get your nicotine with much less chemicals!

As far as brands, just do your research. I tried a few before finding ProSmoke from www.ProSmokeStore.com but everyone might want something different. Check cigreviews and electroniccigarettespot for opinions and reviews. The other brands came close but I am very content with what I have now.

In the long run, it is also much cheaper. I would say 50+% for smokers. God this sounds like an infomercial....but do your research and good luck quitting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34947741.post-37997395956575693792010-05-23T14:33:45.152-04:002010-05-23T14:33:45.152-04:00I'm glad you found this device (yay, no stinky...I'm glad you found this device (yay, no stinky smoke). As far as THAC0 being "more difficult", maybe that's just be being lazy. In 1e AD&D, Gygax had charts for each classes' various numbers to hit different ACs; THAC0 turned every roll into having to suddenly make calculations on the fly, and frankly, I suck at doing math in my head. Truthfully, during the 2e era of D&D, I was largely one of the "right wing fundamentalist Christians" I mentioned in the first paragraph and had abandoned my love of gaming due to religious influences.

Thanks for your comments, and thanks for reading! ~ JCAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00041779231305925809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34947741.post-904339742671912362010-04-04T20:50:42.594-04:002010-04-04T20:50:42.594-04:00Small pick - The "d20 System" refers to...Small pick - The "d20 System" refers to only the 3.x rules editions of D&D post TSR, and not other versions.

I've never played 2e but I'm surprised that you found the THAC0 to be more difficult than the older mechanic (since it was introduced for the very reason that it was simpler).
